The CPBF – ‘Fire Inspire’ Charity Firewalk

If you can walk over hot coals, just think what else you could achieve!

The Care Professionals Benevolent Fund (CPBF) in conjunction with Think! Training & Consultancy is preparing itself, and those associated with the care industry, for the walk of their lives. To be held on the 18th November at the Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow Airport, guests will arrive as mere mortals and leave as Masters of Mind over Matter!

Each volunteer will take part in an all encompassing training seminar prior to taking their first steps on to the red hot coals. Here they will be taught how to control their thoughts which will enable them to overcome one of the biggest obstacles they might have ever faced. Participants will learn how to step beyond their comfort zone and to achieve any goal with the burning embers acting as a metaphor for life and the challenges we all face.

By staging this event the CPBF has aimed to raise around £10,000 which will come in the form of participant sponsorship money and an auction to be held on the evening. All monies raised will go towards helping carers who, through no fault of their own, have fallen on hard times and will add to the fantastic work already being carried out by the CPBF.

The CPBF is the registered charity for the care industry and is dedicated to helping current, former and retired care professionals by providing assistance to relieve financial hardship or sickness. This is normally in the form of grants enabling individuals to purchase essential equipment to improve quality of life or to prevent debt arising in times of crisis. By offering small pockets of financial support the CPBF is able to truly make a huge difference to people’s lives.

The CPBF is looking for anyone who is not afraid of a challenge to take part in this event and to raise as much money as possible for a very worthy cause with friends and family welcome too. Each participant must register via the Think! Training & Consultancy’s website and then raise the necessary funds to confirm their booking.
