HCPA has a commitment to communicate with all Care Providers’ in Hertfordshire and provide appropriate information relevant to their operations.
- We work in partnership with Hertfordshire Adult Care Services (ACS) through a Memorandum of Understanding to work collaboratively to enhance the quality of care provided in Hertfordshire.
- We administer in excess of £600k funding per annum through Partnerships with Skills for Care, ACS and other funding bodies
- We provide information on matters relating, for example, to legislation, regulation and the development of ‘Best Practice’
- We meet quarterly with the Director of ACS around negotiation of annual fees
- We engage with CQC regarding current regulatory issues
- We provide advice and guidance on Workforce, Training and Development issues
- We have a seat on quality and steering groups such as Safeguarding, Dementia, E-Learning and QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) Care Qualifications as well as Skills for Care Regional Committee
- From advice on regulation to negotiation of local authority fee rates, we give a collective voice to individual concerns. We are the largest association of our kind and have been representing the private sector's interests for more than twenty years.
